In Leiga, you have the flexibility to choose how you measure workload in your projects.
Points: Measures the effort or complexity, often used in Scrum teams.
Estimated Hours of Work: Measures predicted time needed for completion.
Work Count: Counts the number of tasks, suitable for non-development projects.
To set your workload estimation method:
Navigate to Project Settings > Features.
Find "Workload Statistics".
Choose your preferred workload estimation method.
Select the work type for which you want to add the estimated workload field.
Project Administrator permission is required for this action.
The project progress displayed in various features, such as Kanban, Roadmap, Burndown Chart, and more, will be based on the estimation method you've selected.
You can use points and estimated hours of work simultaneously to track the actual workload in the work details pane.
Regardless of the method you choose for workload estimation, the Time Tracking feature allows you to log hours spent on tasks or subtasks efficiently.
This feature includes two fields: "Time Spent" and "Time Remaining".
To enable the Time Tracking Feature:
Navigate to Project Settings > Features.
Toggle the switch to enable Time Tracking.
Choose the work type for which you intend to add Time Tracking fields.
When the 'Time Tracking' feature is enabled, the corresponding fields ("Time Tracking") will appear on the detail pane of the selected work type. Upon entering values in the "Time Spent" input field, the "Remaining" field will dynamically adjust based on the logged hours and the estimated workload.
This feature facilitates accurate tracking of time allocated to designated work types, aiding in better task management and estimation of remaining efforts.
