Multi-Level Sorting

In additional to sorting by a single field, multi-level sorting is also supported for more precise data organization.

Sort work items by multiple fields

  1. Hover over a field and click the sorting icon to sort in descending order.
  2. Click the sorting icon again to sort in ascending order.
tip

You can use up to 5 fields in multi-level sorting.

Change the order in multi-level sorting

Changing the order in multi-level sorting provides a different perspective on the sorted information. For example, if you initially sorted by due date and then by priority, changing the order would mean sorting first by priority and then by due date.

  1. Hover over the sorting toolbar in the upper right corner.
  2. Drag and drop each sorting field to adjust the order.
note

The number next to the sorting field indicates the sorting order.

Remove sorting

  1. Hover over the sorting toolbar in the upper right.
  2. Click the X icon next to the field to remove it from sorting.

Sortable Fields

The following type of fields can be used for sorting:

  • Formula
  • Numeric
  • Date
  • Date&Time
  • Dropdown
  • Checkbox
